The VSOE committee would like to announce the third Symposium on “Interdisciplinary and Integrated Solutions for Sustainable Offshore Infrastructure“, set for December 12-14, 2024. in Hanoi, Vietnam. Building on the success of previous symposia, VSOE 2024 (https://vsoe2024.sciencesconf.org/) aims to advance sustainable, resilient, and environmentally considerate offshore infrastructure.
VSOE 2024 will continue to serve as a dynamic platform for participants to share and discuss advancements in offshore engineering, innovative technologies, and integrated approaches. It’s an opportunity for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and entrepreneurs to shape the future of offshore engineering globally, focusing on sustainable development and environmental stewardship.
VSOE 2024 is organized jointly by the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts (AVSE Global) and the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE), under the auspices of the TC-209 (Offshore geotechnics) and TC308 (Energy Geotechnics) of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) as wel as the Vietnam Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (VSSMGE).
VSOE 2024 will cover topics like offshore geosciences, environmental challenges, foundation engineering, subsea technologies, and offshore wind energy, emphasizing Vietnam’s unique challenges and global trends.
